I first met Mr.Smith in February 2013 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Being only 25 years old at time of diagnosis I felt very scared and alone. Mr.Smith has truly been amazing during all my treatment. He has been informative and thorough along every single step and procedure of all my care and treatment. I have always trusted Mr.Smith's judgements and treatment plans 100%, and will always continue to do so. I think Mr.Smith is the most amazing man I have ever met. I am totally in awe of him, and feel so lucky to have had him as my surgeon during treatment. He is so clever, kind, and caring, I am sure without his support my treatment would have ended very differently. I found Mr.Smith very genuine, and could tell once I was seated in front of him his time was devoted to me and he always welcomed all my questions no matter how silly they were. I never felt rushed, or like his attention was never fully on me. He was always accommodating to my needs. During surgery or routine appointments Mr.Smith has been amazing, always professional, happy and welcoming. I have received treatment both in the Private sector (Springfield) and NHS sector (Broomfield) with Mr.Smith and he has treated me fantastically in both. Mr.Smith is my hero and I count my lucky stars I was fortunate enough to have him treat me. I am almost at the end of treatment now and even though I am ecstatic, I will be saddened that I will no longer see Mr.Smith on a regular basis. He is an amazing gentleman and surgeon. He comes highly recommended with my complete trust!

I first met Mr Smith when I opted to have breast implants at Springfield hospital. He's a really nice bloke not at all pompous and unapproachable like some surgeons, I found him to be professional but caring and has a nice sense of humour that makes you feel at ease, and in safe hands. Fortunately for me Mr Smith is also a thyroid surgeon, when having my boobs done he diagnosed a thyroid problem I didn't know I had. Again he saw me through all my tests and options, explaining all the pros and cons in detail to me before letting me make my own choices, He removed my thyroid, I didn't have any problems and he had me in clinic regularly after my surgery to check my progress, even when I insulted his sewing skills (for which I'm sorry!) he laughed and said my scar would heal fine....which it has, perfectly. The anaesthetist Mr Smith always uses is a really nice bloke too, they work well together. I would happily recommend Mr Smith to any other patient, and will go back to Springfield Hospital to see him when my boobs need a lift.

The hygiene in the ward was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Dr S Smith was very reassuring and supportive. He was there to see me in the ward straight after my operation. I was surprised and relieved because my surgery was not as dramatic as other surgery I have had before. Although I was sore, I felt like I had a new lease of life - really good! I thoroughly recommend Dr Simon Smith and this hospital, in my opinion he is simply the best.

Simon Smith was the best surgeon ever, I was so apprehensive before the operation and Mr smith and he's team reassured me about everything the aftercare was incredible, I have full trust in this surgeon and if I ever needed anything done again i would certainly go back to mr smith, highly recommended!
